The Holt Group is seeking a Shop Welder Tech - (Line Bore) in Irving, TX. This role performs intermediate welding repairs and fabrication on heavy equipment, using FCAW and GTAW processes per Holt, Caterpillar, and AWS standards.

Must read blueprints and perform basic line boring and component removal/installation with precision tooling. Expect to work in a shop environment, maintain equipment, and follow safety policies.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent; welding training preferred.
• Two or more years welding/fabrication experience desired.
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret weld symbols.

Mansioni

• Perform intermediate welding repairs and fabrication on heavy equipment.
• Operate FCAW and GTAW processes in multiple positions.
• Utilize precision measuring and layout tools; read drawings.
• Ensure work meets specified welding codes and quality standards.
• Maintain tools and work area; work safely and with oversight as needed.
