Job summary

Fulcrum Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Welder/Fabricator to join our indoor fabrication facility in Oregon.

You will cut, fit, weld, and finish high-precision parts from engineering drawings, delivering quality components for vibration-sensitive semiconductor production tools. The role requires 3+ years of welding experience (GMAW, FCAW, GTAW), ability to read blueprints and weld symbols, and strong measurement skills.

Qualifications

• 3+ years welding and fabrication experience using GMAW, FCAW, and GTAW processes.
• Ability to read and interpret detailed blueprints, drawings, and weld symbols.
• Knowledge of welding parameters, including amperage, voltage, and wire feed settings.
• Strong layout, math, and measuring skills using both metric and imperial systems.

Responsibilities

• Cutting, drilling, tapping, and preparing metal parts according to specifications.
• Reading and interpreting shop drawings and welding symbols accurately.
• Performing fit-ups, tack welding, and final welds.
• Flattening, straightening, and preparing parts for powder coating.
• Grinding and finishing components as required.
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Collaborating with team members and communicating job progress.
• Following all safety procedures and participating in safety meetings.
• Taking initiative to solve fabrication and production challenges.
