Job summary

Simpson Strong-Tie Company Inc. in Fulton, MO is seeking a Welder to perform fabrication and welding of various gauges and metals per drawings and Simpson specifications.

Responsibilities include setting up machines, reading prints, welding parts, and maintaining clean, safe work areas. The role requires a 1-year technical certificate, PIT certification (to be obtained at hire), and at least 1 year of related manufacturing experience.

Qualifications

• 1-year certificate from college or technical school required.
• PIT Certification required (will certify at hire).
• Minimum 1-year related manufacturing experience or training.
• Must read and follow safety standards and produce quality parts.

Responsibilities

• Set up welding machine, gather work, read prints, stage work and weld parts.
• Read tape measure to 1/32" tolerance and measure angles.
• Operate other production machinery with training.
• Keep work area clean and maintain safety.
• Place finished products on pallets and apply labels as needed.
