Job summary

Simpson Strong-Tie in Fulton, MO, is seeking a hands-on Die Handler/ Machinist to join our manufacturing team. The role focuses on cleaning, inspection and changeover of dies according to the production schedule, while operating CNC machines and conventional mills/lathes.

You’ll use precision measuring tools to ensure parts meet tight tolerances and support continuous improvement in a fast-paced plant. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, plus 2 years in a technical field or a

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• 2-year technical degree or 2 years in a technical field operating precision equipment.
• Ability to read production drawings and use measuring devices.

Responsibilities

• Feed CNC machines and operate conventional mills/lathes (50%).
• Operate auxiliary equipment such as drill press and vertical lathe (20%).
• Read drawings and perform die changeovers; learn surface grinding and shim manufacture; use calipers and dial indicators (15%).
• Support the plant with other duties as assigned by leadership (15%).
