Job summary

KMT Waterjet, a Shape Technologies Group Company, is seeking an Assembler to join our production team in Kansas. You will assemble waterjet components, including valves, hydraulic cylinders, pumps, and completed units, ensuring precision and quality.

You will report to the Assembly Supervisor and collaborate with other departments to maintain seamless operations. The role requires reading blueprints, using hand and power tools, and performing testing to verify performance and safety.

Qualifications

Requires high school diploma or GED; technical training is a plus.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
Experience with hand and power tools preferred.
Experience in assembly/manufacturing preferred.

Responsibilities

Interpret blueprints and assembly instructions to position and assemble waterjet components.
Use tools and equipment to fasten parts securely with precision.
Test and inspect assembled waterjet systems for function and quality.
Collaborate with team to ensure smooth workflow and efficient assembly.
Follow safety protocols and keep the work area clean and organized.
Participate in continuous improvement to enhance procedures and quality.
Other duties as assigned.
