Job summary

KMT Waterjet, part of Shape Technologies Group, is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to lead daily shipping and receiving operations in Baxter Springs. You will supervise staff, coordinate with internal departments, maintain inventory accuracy, and drive process improvements while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

Candidates should have proven experience in shipping/receiving, knowledge of QMS, strong organizational and leadership skills, and proficiency with MS Office.

• Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS).
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast‑paced environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise the activities of the shipping and receiving team to ensure timely and accurate processing of shipments.
• Train, mentor, and coach shipping and receiving personnel to improve performance and enhance productivity.
• Ensure that all shipped and received products meet quality standards and adhere to company policies and procedures.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and oversee the organization and storage of incoming and outgoing goods within the warehouse facility.
• Oversee incoming and outgoing shipping activities to ensure accuracy, completeness, and condition of shipments.
• Direct the movement of the shipping and receiving platform to storage and work areas.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement measures to optimize shipping and receiving operations.
• Maintain accurate records of shipments, inventory levels, and related documentation. Generate reports as required to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and departmental metrics.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, including customs regulations, import/export laws, and safety standards.
• Enforce safety regulations and procedures to create a safe working environment for employees and minimize the risk of accidents or injuries.
• Other duties as assigned.
