Job summary

KMT Waterjet, Inc., a Shape Technologies Group Company, is seeking an Assembler for our production team. You will assemble waterjet components, read blueprints, and use hand and power tools to ensure precision and quality.

Report to the Assembly Supervisor and collaborate with other departments to maintain smooth operations. The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, ability to lift 50 lbs, and 8+ hour standing capability.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Technical training or coursework in manufacturing, mechanical assembly, or related field is a plus.
• Previous assembly/manufacturing experience is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with basic hand and power tools.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings/blueprints is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Interpret blueprints and/or assembly instructions to position and assemble waterjet components.
• Use tools to fasten parts securely, adhering to specifications.
• Conduct testing and inspection of assembled waterjet systems.
• Collaborate with team to ensure smooth workflow.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
