Job summary

A&B Distributors is seeking a Warehouse Receiver to join our Texas facility. You will verify incoming deliveries against orders, inspect shipments for damage, and unload goods using standard warehouse equipment. The role requires attention to detail and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include documenting receipts in the WMS, organizing stock, rotating inventory, and assisting with loading. A valid driver’s license and PIT certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• Highschool Diploma or GED required.
• Valid Driver’s license with clean driving record is required.
• 1+ years of warehouse receiving experience preferred.
• WMS experience (Encompass or other) preferred.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs. repeatedly.
• PIT certification to operate warehouse equipment required or obtainable.

Responsibilities

• Receive deliveries; verify counts, product codes, and PO/bill of lading.
• Inspect shipments for damage, shortages, or discrepancies and report issues.
• Unload trucks safely using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other equipment.
• Document and record received goods in the warehouse management system.
• Tag, label, and organize products in designated locations.
• Replenish front pick line to ensure product availability for orders.
• Inspect inventory for expiration dates and rotate stock.
• Assist with loading trucks as needed.
• Move trucks/vans within the warehouse or between locations.
• Maintain cleanliness, safety, and organization of receiving areas.
• Communicate with drivers and supervisors to ensure smooth receiving operations.
• Adhere to safety and company compliance standards.
• Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.
