Job summary

Sysco is seeking a warehouse associate in San Antonio to efficiently pick products, attach labels, and stage orders for shipping. You will operate an electric pallet jack to move pallets, handle merchandise with care, and stay compliant with GMP and safety procedures.

The role requires standing for long periods, frequent lifting, and working in cold environments. Prior experience with pallet jacks or forklifts is valued, with opportunities to grow in a fast-paced distribution setting.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• 0 - 1 year relevant work experience preferred.
• Ability to lift 10–75 lbs and up to 100 lbs frequently.
• Ability to reach up to 72 inches.
• Frequent bending and twisting while operating equipment.
• Work in coolers/freezers and on your feet 10–12 hours.

Responsibilities

• Read customer order from label screen and select product by slot and description.
• Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets in the proper sequence.
• Attach labels on product.
• Operate an electric pallet jack to correct slot location and transport to dock for staging.
• Handle products with care and report damages.
• Perform daily equipment checks and cleaning duties as assigned.
• Sign in/out for equipment use and follow safety policies.
