Job summary

Crane Aerospace & Electronics is seeking an Assembler - Valves (5:30am - 2:00pm) to perform assembly and subassembly tasks in a controlled environment. You will prepare, inspect, and test components using microscopes and specialized equipment, while adhering to military and ITAR standards and safety policies.

The role requires 1–5+ years in small component assembly, the ability to read engineering prints, and strong manual dexterity.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–5+ years of small component assembly experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to interpret production or engineering prints and wiring diagrams.
• Proficiency in basic computer skills and reading English instructions.
• Accurate color vision, near vision, and depth perception.

Responsibilities

• Perform assembly tasks, subassemblies, or completed assemblies.
• Prepare components, clean, mark, and inspect before/during assembly.
• Test finished assemblies and operate related equipment.
• Observe OSHA safety procedures and Crane policy; report issues.
• Participate in 5S, standard work, and CBS initiatives; overtime as needed.
