Job summary

Crane Aerospace & Electronics is seeking an Assembler II for valve assemblies in Burbank, CA. The role runs 5:30am–2:00pm onsite, performing subassemblies and finished assemblies per military standards and other guidelines, with emphasis on quality and safety.

You will prepare, inspect, and test components and finished products, operate micron-scale equipment, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in a high-volume setting.

Qualifications

• 1–5+ years of small component assembly experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong reading comprehension and ability to understand work-related documents in English.
• Good verbal and written communication skills; basic computer literacy.

Responsibilities

• Perform assembly tasks to produce subassemblies or completed assemblies.
• Prepare components, clean, mark, and inspect parts before assembly.
• Test finished assemblies and operate equipment (die attach, wire bonder, X-ray).
• Maintain health and safety practices; report issues to lead/supervisor.
• Support 5S and continuous improvement; participate in team meetings.
• Cross-train on at least one process within the cell; perform required training.
