You will safely operate a bulldozer for grading, backfilling, site preparation, and earthmoving on water, sewer, and storm drain projects, with emphasis on safety and quality. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of bulldozer experience in heavy civil construction, can read construction plans, and communicates clearly with crew members and subcontractors to keep

Qualificações

• Minimum 2 years of bulldozer operating experience in heavy civil construction.
• Experience working on underground wet utility projects (water, sewer, storm drain) around open trenches.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
• Strong communication skills for diverse audiences.
• Analytical mindset to review project data and identify improvement opportunities.
• Experience with government contracts and compliance is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Safely operate a bulldozer for grading, backfilling, site prep, and earthmoving.
• Support installation of water, sewer, and storm drainage systems while maintaining grades.
• Ensure all work is done safely, efficiently, and to high quality standards.
• Perform basic equipment maintenance and simple repairs.
• Communicate with crew members and subcontractors to keep on schedule and within budget.
• Develop and maintain relationships to ensure awareness of schedules and deadlines.
• Ensure equipment safety and adherence to procedures; identify and resolve construction issues.
• Provide on-the-job training to new operators as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
