The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of bulldozer experience in heavy civil construction, can read construction plans, and communicates effectively with crew and subcontractors. Safety and quality are top priorities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in heavy equipment operation preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of bulldozer operating experience in heavy civil construction.
• Experience around underground wet utility projects (water, sewer, storm drain) and open trenches required.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
• Strong communication skills and safety focus.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a bulldozer for grading, backfilling, site prep, and earthmoving on underground utility projects.
• Support installation of water, sewer, and storm drainage systems while maintaining proper grades.
• Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and at high quality levels.
• Maintain equipment and perform basic repairs as needed.
• Communicate with crew members and subcontractors to meet schedules and budgets.
• Develop and maintain relationships to ensure awareness of project timelines.
