Emery Sapp & Sons, Inc. seeks an experienced Dozer Operator for our underground utility crew in Springdale, AR. You will safely operate a bulldozer for grading, backfilling, and earthmoving on water, sewer, and storm drainage projects.

Qualified candidates have at least 2 years of bulldozer experience in heavy civil construction, with familiarity with open trenches and underground utilities. Proficiency reading plans is required, along with strong communication and safety discipline.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training preferred.
• Minimum 2 years bulldozer operating experience in heavy civil construction.
• Experience around underground wet utility projects and open trenches.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specs.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Safety-focused with ability to follow procedures.

Responsabilidades

• Safely operate a bulldozer to perform grading, backfilling, site preparation, and earthmoving for underground utility projects.
• Support installation of water, sewer, and storm drainage systems by maintaining grades and assisting crews in the ditch.
• Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to high quality levels.
• Maintain equipment and perform basic repairs as needed.
• Communicate with crew and subcontractors to meet schedule and budget.
• Develop relationships with crew to ensure awareness of schedules and deadlines.
• Ensure equipment safety procedures followed; identify and resolve issues.
• Provide on-the-job training to new operators as needed.
• Other duties as assigned
