AOC Metal Works - VA is seeking a Turret Operator to set up, operate, and maintain a turret punch press, following blueprints to cut metal parts. You will perform quality checks, ensure production targets are met, and uphold safety standards in a team-based environment.

The role requires blueprint literacy, basic math, and familiarity with shop drawings. Candidates should be able to lift, stand, and work in a manufacturing setting with overtime as needed.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent may be required.
• Basic reading, writing and arithmetic skills required.
• Must read and understand blueprints, tape measure, calipers, and other shop drawing aids.

Responsabilidades

• Set-up, adjust and prepare turret per blueprint specifications.
• Operate turret punch press and monitor cutting conditions.
• Perform quality checks and first piece inspections.
• Package and move finished products to proper locations.
• Ensure safe setup, use of safety devices, and adherence to QC standards.
• Monitor tool wear and request maintenance as needed.
• Assist with tooling, programs, and lean improvements with supervisors.
