Job summary

100Hires, Inc. is seeking a Turret Punch Press Operator in Greenwood, Indiana. You will install and align punches and dies, position workpieces, and index to the correct punch/die sets to execute programmed operations.

You will read blueprints and operation sheets to determine steps, perform in-process inspections, and maintain data in the Traverse Manufacturing System. The role requires basic math skills and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year of turret punch press experience.
• Able to read blueprints and operation sheets.
• Strong math skills including fractions, decimals, and unit conversions.
• Experience with data entry in manufacturing systems.

Responsibilities

• Install, align, and lock punches and dies in the turret and set up the machine for programs.
• Position and secure the workpiece on the machine table and index to punch/die sets.
• Read blueprints and operation sheets to determine steps and sequences.
• Punch holes in nonmetallic materials as required by the job.
• Perform in-process inspections with dial/vernier calipers, micrometers, and height gauges.
• Track good and scrap counts and enter data into Traverse Manufacturing System.
