Job summary

Avalign Technologies is seeking a Turret Punch Press Operator for our Greenwood, IN facility on a 1st shift schedule. You will operate turret punch presses, interpret blueprints, and perform quality inspections to ensure accurate parts.

The role requires a high school diploma, 1 year of related experience, and the ability to read blueprints and setup the turret punch press. You will work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with emphasis on safety and accuracy.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of related experience and/or training.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and operations sheets.
• Ability to set-up and operate Turret Punch Press machine.

Responsibilities

• Inserts, aligns, and locks punches and dies in turret; positions work-piece on table and clamps it to the machine.
• Activates punch, repeats operation for each chart setting, and scratches layout lines.
• Reads and interprets blueprints and work operation sheets to determine operations.
• Computes punch charts from blueprints and punches holes in nonmetallic materials.
• Uses inspection gauges (calipers, micrometers, squares, height gauges) for quality checks per AQL.
• Maintains production counts, documents entries, and reports issues to supervisor.
