Job summary

Avalign Technologies in Greenwood, IN is hiring a Turret Punch Press Operator for the 3rd shift to operate turret punch presses, set up dies, and follow charts for punched holes and layout marks on metal sheets.

You will read blueprints, compute punch charts, perform quality checks with calipers and micrometers, and document production data. Candidates should have a high school diploma and 1 year of related experience, with ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of related experience and/or training.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and operations sheets.
• Mathematical skills for units of measure and calculations.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Operate turret punch press and set up punches and dies per charts.
• Read blueprints and determine appropriate operations.
• Compute punch charts from blueprints and punch holes.
• Inspect parts with calipers and micrometers and report issues.
• Maintain accurate counts and production paperwork.
• Keep tools and area clean and safe; report malfunctions.
