Job summary

MacLean Power Systems is hiring a Machine Operator at our Oregon, WI facility to operate the AEM Unicore UCM425, load coils, monitor performance, and inspect parts.

You will follow work instructions, meet production schedules, perform basic troubleshooting, and maintain a clean, safe work area. Prior manufacturing experience is welcomed but not required.

This onsite role emphasizes safety, quality, and teamwork within a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Prior manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred but not required.
• Basic mechanical aptitude required.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Forklift experience or certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate the AEM Unicore UCM425 machine to produce transformer cores.
• Load electrical steel coils and other materials.
• Monitor the machine during operation and make basic adjustments as needed.
• Inspect finished components for quality.
• Follow work instructions and production schedules.
• Perform basic machine troubleshooting and notify the supervisor of equipment issues.
• Perform routine daily machine checks and basic preventive maintenance.
• Safely operate hoists and other material-handling equipment as required.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Follow all company safety and quality procedures.
• Assist with other production duties as needed.
