Job summary

MacLean Power Systems is seeking an Operator 3, Molding to join its Fort Mill, SC manufacturing team. You will operate molding equipment, perform quality checks, and support process improvements in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include running injection mold presses, ensuring products meet QC requirements, performing moderate troubleshooting, and documenting results while adhering to 5S and safety policies. High school diploma with 1–3 years of related experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; typically 1–3 years of related experience.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Basic math and measuring skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate molding equipment (injection mold press, crimp, tester, oven) and related machinery.
• Ensure items produced pass quality control requirements.
• Perform moderately advanced troubleshooting of equipment and adjustments.
• Read and interpret blueprints when applicable.
• Use measuring instruments to verify dimensions.
• Complete production documentation accurately.
• Adhere to 5S standards and safety policies.

Job Summary

Performs work associated with the operation of assigned mechanical equipment in a manufacturing environment.

Job Duties

• Run assigned mechanical equipment/Injection Mold Press/Crimp/Tester/Oven
• Ensure that items produced pass quality control requirements
• Perform moderately advanced troubleshooting of equipment and perform adjustments
• Read and interpret blue prints if applicable
• Use moderately advanced measuring instruments
• Complete all necessary documents fully and accurately
• Adhere to 5S standards (e.g., maintain cleanliness of work area, etc.)
• Follow all Safety, Environmental and Quality policies and procedures
• Perform other duties as assigned

Experience and Education

• Perform work under minimal supervision
• Handle moderately complex issues and problems and refer more complex issues to higher level staff
• Possess solid working knowledge of subject matter
• Typically require a high school diploma or equivalent and 1 to 3 years of experience
