Job summary

ERMCO is seeking a production operator in Wisconsin to perform detailed operating instructions, startup and shutdown of equipment, and material handling including lifting 50+ lbs. You will use hand and power tools, assist with cores assembly, and ensure adherence to ERMCO standards and safety policies.

The role emphasizes teamwork, strong communication, and precise measurement skills, with a focus on safety and PPE compliance in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and use lifting devices.
• Experience with hand and power tools is preferred.
• Effective teamwork and communication.
• Must wear PPE and follow safety policies.
• Manufacturing experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Understand and carry out detailed written and verbal instructions for operating processes, equipment, and part production.
• Perform safe start-up, operation, tool changes, and shutdown of equipment.
• Repeatedly lift and move material weighing 50+ lbs.
• Handle metal parts and materials, use hand and power tools, assemble cores, ensure parts conform to ERMCO standards.
• Follow all ERMCO safety policies and procedures.
