Job summary

RSA Rochester (Integrity Tool) in Ontario, NY is seeking an experienced CNC machinist to own parts from print to finished piece, plan processes, program, set up, and run jobs. You'll create and edit CNC programs at the control or in CAM (Mastercam or comparable), and independently complete setups on mills and lathes while keeping multiple machines productive.

You will select tooling, workholding, and dial in speeds/feeds for quality and efficiency, build or modify tooling, hold tight tolerances

Qualifications

• 5+ years in CNC machining and/or tool & die.
• Ability to work directly from a print—strong blueprint reading and GD&T.
• Programming proficiency: conversational, G-code at the control, and/or CAM (Mastercam a plus).
• Proven setup skills on both mills and lathes; wire EDM or grinding experience is a plus.
• Comfortable holding +/- 0.001" and tighter when required.
