Job summary

Lippert Components, Inc. is seeking a skilled Tool & Die Technician to fabricate, repair and troubleshoot tooling for manufacturing operations. You will read blueprints, set up machines, and work from sketches to create or modify dies and jigs.

This full-time, first-shift role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, a Tool and Die apprenticeship, and preferably journeyman status; you will join a culture that values safety, quality, and teamwork, with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of Tool and Die apprenticeship training required.
• Journeyman's card preferred.
• Minimum seven years of tool and die experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Comply with safety practices and company procedures.
• Fabricates and repairs machine tools using machining operations and measuring instruments.
• Work from blueprints and sketches to create or modify tools, dies, and jigs.
• Assemble, maintain, and troubleshoot tooling.
• Ensure parts and tooling meet instructions, prints, and work orders.
• Set up and operate machine tools, lathes, and grinders.
• Maintain all assigned machines and equipment including preventative maintenance.
• Perform organizational duties including maintaining an organized and clean work area.
• Perform welding and heat treating as needed.
