Job summary

TDS Automation, Inc. is seeking a Tool Room Welder with skills in fabrication, welding, and repair of metal components using MIG and TIG processes.

The role requires blueprint literacy, reading WPS/PQRs, and following work orders to ensure high-quality results across all products. Qualified candidates will have six months of welding training or equivalent experience, knowledge of blueprints, and the ability to perform shop math.

Qualifications

• Six months of technical welding training or equivalent experience.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately.
• Perform basic shop math including trig and algebra.

Responsibilities

• Understand GMAW and GTAW and follow WPS; operate safely.
• Read blueprints and follow WPS/PQR; follow verbal instructions.
• Repair weld defects per work instructions and AWS codes.
• Document work performed and communicate status to team.
• Collaborate with engineers, machinists, and tool makers on fabrication/repairs.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment per procedures.
• Travel as needed and participate in training as assigned.
