Envases US Aluminum Division in Waco, TX is seeking a precision Tool Room Machinist to maintain and repair high-speed tooling for aluminum ends and lids. You will read blueprints, set up manual lathes, mills, surface grinders, and polishing equipment, and ensure tolerances down to 0.0001 inches in a fast-paced production environment.

The role requires strong measurement skills, adherence to safety, and the ability to work across all shifts in a 24/7 operation.

Qualificações

• Proficient in operating manual Tool Room machinery (grinders, lathes, mills).
• Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints and technical drawings.
• Experience using precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers).
• Must be able to obtain forklift operator certification.
• Willingness to work across all shifts in a 24/7/365 environment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Responsabilidades

• Machining, maintenance, repair, refurbishment, and adjustment of precision tooling components.
• Read blueprints to determine dimensions, tolerances, materials, and requirements.
• Set up and operate manual Tool Room equipment (lathes, mills, grinders, etc.).
• Perform in-process and final inspections to verify tolerances (0.0001 in).
• Document measurements, repairs, and adjustments in the maintenance system.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to minimize downtime and improve tooling reliability.
