Qualified candidates have a HS diploma or GED, 1–2 years in manufacturing, and the ability to lift 50 lbs. The role requires flexibility for 12-hour rotating shifts in a continuous environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 1–2 years in manufacturing, industrial, or warehouse environment.
• Basic mechanical aptitude; lift up to 50 lbs; stand up to 12 hours.
• Willingness to work any shift in a 24/7/365 continuous manufacturing environment.
• Preferred: metal forming, packaging, or high-volume consumer goods (FMCG); Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma; experience with precision measurement tools.

Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust, and operate high-speed shell presses to form aluminum shells from raw coil feeds according to specifications.
• Oversee sealing compound application; monitor pump pressures, nozzle alignment, and temperatures.
• Manage final conversion process; monitor transfer systems, tabs, and final product packaging.
• Perform hourly quality inspections; check defects and dimensions with precision gauges; document results.
• Maintain production logs and report out-of-spec trends to supervisor or quality team.
• Assist with changeovers and basic maintenance; clean machinery and prep components; observe 5S standards.
• Record production data, quality metrics, and maintenance activities on shift logs and digital systems.
