Job summary

Zohorecruit is seeking a Tool Room Technician for 2nd or 3rd shift in Fort Wayne, IN. The role involves setting up, adjusting, and operating manual and CNC machine tools to manufacture and repair tooling, fixtures, dies, gauges, and precision components.

We expect 3–7+ years in tool room or precision machining, experience with CNC mills and lathes, ability to read blueprints and GD&T, and strong manual machining skills to hold tight tolerances.

Qualifications

• 3–7+ years of experience in a tool room or precision machining environment.
• Experience setting up CNC mills and/or lathes, including proving out programs and tooling offsets.
• Ability to interpret blueprints, GD&T, and engineering drawings.
• Proficiency in manual machining and holding tight machining tolerances.

Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust, and operate manual and CNC machine tools to manufacture, repair, and modify tooling, fixtures, dies, gauges, and precision components.
• Support production by ensuring tooling accuracy, quality, and minimal downtime.
