Job summary

The Maintenance Tool and Die Tech role at Trane Technologies is responsible for making, repairing, and diagnosing dies, punches, and other tooling/parts. You will work with the team to prioritize work orders and support internal customers’ needs in a fast-paced plant environment.

This on-site position requires a high school diploma or GED and 5 years of tool and die shop experience, proficiency with reading technical documents, and basic computer skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 5 years tool and die shop experience required.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• CNC programming experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Make, repair, and diagnose dies, punches, and other tooling/parts.
• Prioritize work based on CMMS work orders and direct assignments.
• Sustain lean manufacturing and 5S activities.
• Review drawings and build parts accordingly.
• Collaborate with Maintenance to support repairs and projects.
