Job summary

Baltimore Aircoil Company in Dayton, TN is seeking a Precision Tool & Die Reliability Technician to join our Maintenance & Reliability team. You will work from preventive maintenance rounds to urgent equipment fixes, using blueprints and shop drawings, and adhering to safety and procedure standards.

You’ll perform PMs, close work orders, rebuilds, bench work, and basic electrical troubleshooting with a DMM.

Qualifications

• Safety procedures are essential and followed.
• Execute PMs, close out work orders, and perform quality repairs.
• Ability to read schematics/wiring diagrams and use a DMM.
• Lean manufacturing knowledge (5S, Kanban, flow) and continuous improvement.
• Read blueprints and shop drawings; use jigs and fixtures.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance rounds and repairs to minimize downtime.
• Close out work orders and document repairs.
• Repair pumps, compressors, and piping systems; troubleshoot electrical issues.
• Build jigs, templates, and subassemblies per blueprints.
• Operate hand tools; weld, mill, and lathe as required.
• Ensure safety and use PPE; follow OEM manuals for diagnostics.
