Job summary
BAC is seeking a Precision Tool & Die Reliability Technician in Dayton, TN. You will join the Maintenance & Reliability team, performing preventive maintenance, repairs, and inspections on tooling and related systems.
The role requires reading blueprints, working with hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical components, and adhering to safety procedures. You will report to the Maintenance Supervisor and collaborate with senior technicians to resolve issues, document results, and support lean
Qualifications
- Experience with mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Ability to read schematics and wiring diagrams for diagnostics.
- Proficient with electrical troubleshooting using a DMM.
- Familiarity with machine components and power transmission.
- Strong documentation and safety compliance.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance rounds and close out work orders.
- Repair pumps, compressors, and piping systems; troubleshoot basic electrical issues.
- Contain downtime by executing quality repairs and documenting outcomes.
- Build jigs, templates, and subassemblies from blueprints and shop drawings.
- Collaborate with maintenance and production to align priorities and tasks.
- Follow OEM manuals for diagnostics and repairs and maintain accurate records.
