Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• 4+ years of die building experience.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
• Experience with precision measuring instruments.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and tooling specifications.
• Plan and execute sequence of machining operations.
• Measure, mark, and lay out metal stock for machining.
• Set up and operate manual and CNC machine tools including lathe and milling centers.
• Fit and assemble die components and mechanisms.
• Verify dimensions using micrometers and precision instruments.
• Modify and repair tooling as needed.
• Develop tooling specifications from general descriptions.
• Input labor into data collection systems.
• Coordinate production needs with supervisors and team members.
