Job summary

Viega LLC in McPherson, KS, is hiring a Tool and Die Maker for 1st and 2nd shifts. You will set up and operate CNC and manual machines to produce precision dies and tools from blueprints and CAD/CAM data, verify dimensions, and work with cross‑functional teams. Travel up to 20% (including international).

Compensation: Base $26.00–$34.00 hourly, plus discretionary annual bonus. Benefits include medical, dental, vision; wellness; HSA/FSA; 401(k); life/AD&D; disability; PTO (22 days) and holidays;

Qualifications

• Proficient in programming and operation of CNC equipment including 5-axis machining.
• Ability to fixture and design methods for manufacturing complex parts.
• Read and interpret blueprints and CAD/CAM drawings.
• multitask and prioritize multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC and manual machines to produce precision dies and tools.
• Translate blueprints, sketches, CAD/CAM data into manufactured parts.
• Verify dimensions, sizes, shapes and tolerances.
• File, grind and adjust parts for proper fit.
• Quality check tools/dies against specifications.
• Prepare materials and tools for machining.
