Job summary

MALEKO PERSONNEL is seeking an experienced welder to fit, assemble, weld, and finish precision sheet metal components. The role centers on GTAW (TIG) welding with high-quality output from engineering drawings and work instructions.

Onsite work requires reading blueprints, performing fit-up, welding thin-gauge metal, and finishing to specification. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of welding/fabrication experience in manufacturing, with proficiency in carbon steel, stainless, and aluminum, plus

Qualifications

• Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, engineering drawings, and work instructions.
• Perform fit-up, tack welding, GTAW (TIG) welding, grinding, and finishing operations.
• Fabricate and assemble carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum components.
• Weld thin-gauge sheet metal and fabricated assemblies down to .036" material thickness.
• Perform spot welding, stud welding, and robotic welding operations as required.
• Install PEM hardware, rivet nuts, inserts, studs, and related hardware.
• Perform drilling, tapping, countersinking, and secondary fabrication operations.
• Inspect completed work for dimensional and visual compliance to drawing requirements.
• Accurately complete production documentation and work order transactions.
• Support production schedules and execute work according to established priorities.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in accordance with 5S standards.
• Perform routine operator preventive maintenance (PM) activities on assigned equipment.
• Conduct daily equipment inspections and promptly report abnormalities, safety concerns, quality concerns, or maintenance issues.
• Maintain tools, fixtures, and equipment in good working condition.
• Participate in continuous improvement activities that improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
• Perform other work-related tasks as assigned.
• Comply with all company policies, including Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) requirements.
