Job summary

Opti Staffing Group is hiring a TIG Welder/Fabricator for a well-established Hillsboro manufacturing company. You will fabricate and weld stainless steel components following detailed blueprints and fabrication drawings, with an emphasis on precision and quality.

The role requires 3+ years of TIG welding experience, especially with stainless steel and thin-gauge materials. A keen eye for detail and the ability to read drawings are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional TIG welding experience preferred.
• Strong stainless steel TIG welding experience.
• Experience working with thin-gauge materials highly preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and fabrication drawings.
• Strong measuring skills using tape measures, calipers, and other precision tools.
• Experience with material preparation, fit-up, and finishing.
• Aluminum welding experience is a plus!
• Ability to produce clean, consistent, high-quality welds.
• Strong attention to detail and a dependable work ethic.
• Ability to successfully complete a TIG weld test.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate and weld stainless steel components from blueprints and drawings.
• Measure, cut, fit, prep, and finish materials with precision.
• Maintain accuracy and quality in a hands-on fabrication environment.
