Job summary

Staffmark Group is seeking skilled TIG and MIG welders for our Hillsboro, Oregon facility. Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years TIG/MIG welding experience in manufacturing.
• Technical welding certification preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and welding symbols.

Responsibilities

• Perform TIG (GTAW) and MIG (GMAW) welding on steel, stainless steel, and aluminum components and assemblies.
• Fabricate, fit, tack, and weld weldments according to drawings, blueprints, and AWS codes.
• Read and interpret blueprints, manufacturing drawings, and AWS welding symbols.
• Set up welding equipment according to Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS).
• Position and align materials using fixtures, jigs, measuring tools, and layout equipment to ensure dimensional accuracy.
• Maintain welding equipment and perform basic preventive maintenance.
