Insight Global is seeking a Welder/Fabricator for a leading precision manufacturing client in Fairfield, OH. The role splits time between welding and assembly on high-precision aerospace/defense hardware, emphasizing quality and craftsmanship.

The candidate should have strong TIG welding experience, be comfortable reading engineering drawings, and enjoy hands-on work with tight tolerances on mission-critical components.

Qualifications

• Welding experience required with TIG focus and ability to read specs.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and math skills are essential.
• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs and work with precision.
• Own standard hand tools; employer provides machines and PPE.
• Good communication and ability to work independently.
• Pass background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Perform TIG welding on stainless steel, aluminum, and carbon steel components.
• Complete mechanical assembly of precision fabricated products.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T requirements.
• Cut, prep, bend, flare, and thread pipe and tubing; install fittings.
• Conduct operational testing and quality inspections; maintain AS9100 quality.
