Job summary

Flowserve is seeking an experienced Welder to support the repair and fabrication of nuclear pump components. You will perform precision TIG welding, assembly, disassembly, and repair from engineering drawings and quality standards.

Collaborate with production, engineering, quality, and project teams to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality repairs. Travel to support secondary facilities may be required, and overtime is possible to meet schedules.

Qualifications

• Requires ability to independently perform precision TIG welding or obtain required qualifications.
• Ability to read blueprints, shop drawings, and manufacturing docs.
• Experience with precision measuring equipment (micrometers, calipers, dial indicators).
• Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform TIG welding repairs and fabrication in 2G/3G/6G positions.
• Disassemble, repair, assemble and test pumps and rotating equipment.
• Interpret routers, drawings, and work instructions to ensure quality.
• Operate precision measuring tools to verify dimensions.
• Record activities and maintain quality documentation.
