Job summary

NMG Aerospace is seeking a TIG welder capable of fabricating stainless steel, aluminum and titanium pressure vessels and structural components. The role requires reading blueprints, performing brazing and assembly with hand tools, and meeting AWS/MIL standards.

Applicants should have 3–5 years of TIG welding experience and be able to pass required welding tests. Safe handling of materials and adherence to PPE rules are essential for this on-site position.

Qualifications

• Must have 3-5 years TIG welding experience.
• Must be able to read blueprints and pass pre-employment screening.
• Must pass welding tests for Mil Std. 1595 / AWS D17.1.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform manual tasks.

Responsibilities

• Weld stainless steel, aluminum, and titanium pressure vessels and structures.
• Perform brazing and electromechanical assembly using hand tools.
• Operate TIG welders and related equipment to meet print specs.
• Support Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Adhere to safety policies and training requirements.
