Job summary

Philips Latham MR Magnets facility seeks a Welder 1 to perform precise TIG welds on aluminum and stainless steel, and to operate a robotic welding cell. You will set up equipment, monitor performance, and perform routine maintenance to ensure welds meet strict quality standards.

The role requires 1+ years welding experience, a high school diploma, and the ability to read drawings and use precision instruments. Onsite, 3rd shift (11:20pm–7:30am) with potential overtime and 3rd shift differentials.

Qualifications

• 1+ years welding experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Able to create high quality TIG and MIG welds and vacuum-tight TIG welds on aluminum.
• Able to operate and oversee a robotic welding cell and perform routine maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Operate and oversee robotic welding cell; set up equipment and monitor performance.
• Perform precise TIG welds on aluminum and stainless steel.
• Read drawings and supporting documents; use precision instruments.
• Maintain weld quality and perform routine maintenance; work with cranes and forklifts.
