Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is seeking a Welder for the 2nd shift in Port Washington, WI. The role involves operating semi-automatic welding machinery, reading blueprints, and ensuring weld quality according to BOM specifications.

Qualifications

• 6+ months welding experience required.
• 2 inch plate welding experience.
• MIG welding experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate semi-automatic welding equipment and wire feeder; inspect welds for acceptability.
• Follow mini process sheets and document required information per parts specs.
• Interpret blueprints, identify welding views, symbols, dimensions and BOM requirements.
• Use hand and power tools (grinders, cranes, hoists) safely and effectively.
• Perform self-inspections and assist with basic hook-up and rigging as needed.
• Utilize measuring tools (tape, squares, gauges) in both standard and metric.
• Identify metals from blueprints or BOM specs and ensure correct part identification.
• Perform pre- and post-heating procedures as required with torches and blankets.
• Maintain clean, organized work area and adhere to PPE and safety protocols.
