Job summary

Siemens Energy in the United States, North Carolina, Rural Hall is seeking an experienced welder to perform assembly, welding, and rework of industrial turbine components. You will read travelers and blueprints to determine welding requirements, set up welding equipment, and ensure quality, safety, and efficiency in production.

The role requires proficiency in TIG, MIG, and ARC welding, experience with nickel alloys, and the ability to pass welding qualification tests.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED plus certified welding program.
• Proficiency in TIG, MIG, and ARC welding with ability to produce quality welds.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and work instructions.
• Experience with castings and nickel alloys welding is a plus.
• Welding certification tests and practical TIG weld test required.

Responsibilities

• Perform assembly, welding, and rework of turbine components.
• Read work travelers and blueprints to determine welding requirements.
• Set up, operate welding equipment; select materials per specs.
• Polish, inspect, and weld components to standards.
• Ensure safety, quality, and timely production outputs.
• Support new part manufacturing processes and cross-functional goals.
