Freudenberg-NOK General Partnership is seeking a Test Lab Technician to set up, monitor and document component tests for customer requirements, market research and product qualification in a fast-paced oil seals environment.

You will collaborate with Product Engineering, log test data, adjust conditions, calibrate equipment, and maintain a clean, safe workspace while meeting strict timing and accuracy standards.

Qualifications

• General mechanical knowledge and understanding of oil seals.
• Print and schematic reading experience.
• Self-motivated, organized and detail oriented.
• Familiar and proficient with measuring tools.
• Basic knowledge of dimensioning and tolerancing.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsabilités

• Setup, breakdown, monitor and maintain tests.
• Installing seals, shafts, bore plates, test heads and additional hardware as needed.
• Dialing in offsets, setting oil levels, shaft speeds, temperatures and pressures.
• Data logging/acquisition (DAQ) and oil sampling.
• Ladder Logic Programming of machines.
• Measuring seals and hardware.
• Installing additional test support systems (Pumps, fans, chambers, etc).
• Calibrating of all the laboratory equipment.
• Ordering supplies and equipment.
• Maintaining a clean and efficient work area.
