Job summary

BD is seeking a PosiFlush Production Operator at Columbus West to produce quality PosiFlush syringes on the assigned line, maintain cleanliness, and perform quality checks in line with BD standards.

The role emphasizes teamwork, precise documentation, and basic organization in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. A High School diploma or two years of manufacturing experience is preferred, with on-site presence typical.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and write and converse in English and/or Spanish.
• Teamwork and communication are essential for success in this role.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are required.

Responsibilities

• Assignments may be in ISM/Sterilizer/Inspection, Plunger Rod/Flow Wrappers, Multi Vac/Case Pak.
• Continually monitor operations for product quality and equipment performance.
• Make adjustments to equipment as needed to maintain process quality and productivity.
• Perform or assist with product or equipment changeovers.
• Assist line technicians with equipment repair or troubleshooting.
• Keep machinery, work area and floors neat and orderly and comply with GMP requirements.
• Perform quality inspections, process tests and record data accurately as required.
• Communicate with utilities or scheduling groups to maintain inventory levels.
• Work as a team to develop optimal task methods.
• Other duties as required to support business needs.
