Job summary

BD in Columbus, NE is seeking a PosiFlush Production Operator to produce syringes on the designated lines, collaborating with team members to meet line goals and maintain cleanliness.

You will perform quality checks, adjust equipment for quality and productivity, and ensure compliance with GMP and BD safety policies; English/Spanish communication required.

Required: High School diploma or two years manufacturing experience; on-site role with BD's in-office presence guidelines.

Qualifications

• High School diploma/GED preferred; in lieu, two years manufacturing experience accepted.
• Ability to read/write/converse in English and/or Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Assignments may be in ISM/Sterilizer/Inspection, Plunger Rod/Flow Wrappers, Multi Vac/Case Pak.
• Continually monitor operations for product quality and equipment performance.
• Make adjustments to equipment to maintain process quality and productivity.
• Perform or assist with product or equipment changeovers.
• Assist line technicians or setter/operators with equipment repair or troubleshooting.
• Keep machinery, work area and floors neat and orderly and comply with GMP requirements.
• Perform quality inspections, process tests and record data accurately as required.
• Communicate with utilities or scheduling groups to maintain minimal material inventory levels.
• Work as a team to develop optimal task methods.
• Other duties as required to support business needs.
