ITT Micro-Mode is seeking a Swiss Screw Machinist to join our precision manufacturing team in El Cajon, CA. This role operates Citizen K16 Swiss-style CNC machines to produce small, high-precision components for business-critical applications.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of CNC machining experience, including 1+ years on Swiss-style machines, with strong attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures to ensure quality and efficiency.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of CNC machining experience, with at least 1+ years operating Swiss-style CNC machines.
• Experience reading blueprints and technical drawings; ability to follow setup instructions and work orders.
• Proficient in using precision measuring instruments and maintaining part quality.

Responsabilités

• Operate Citizen K16 Swiss-style CNC machines to manufacture precision components.
• Load raw materials and monitor machine operations to ensure parts meet tight tolerances and specifications.
• Inspect parts using micrometers, calipers, indicators, and document results.
• Follow setup instructions and blueprints to ensure accurate production.
• Perform basic machine adjustments and offsets to maintain quality.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and adhere to safety standards.
• Communicate with setup personnel, programmers, and quality inspectors to resolve issues.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and report mechanical issues.
• Support Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
