Qualifications

• Experience setting up and operating Swiss-style CNC machines.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints and GD&T.
• Experience with first-article inspections.
• 2nd shift availability preferred.
• Ability to work independently and in lean environments.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate Tsugami and Star CNC machines to manufacture precision components.
• Interpret blueprints, CAD models, and setup sheets for accurate machining.
• Select tooling, fixtures, and offsets for each job.
• Perform first-article inspections and adjust as needed.
• Troubleshoot and resolve setup and machining issues independently.
• Document procedures for repeatability and training.
• Collaborate with programmers, engineers, and quality personnel to optimize strategies.
• Maintain 5S compliant, clean, safe work environment.
• Mentor junior machinists and operators.
• Participate in Lean/Kaizen initiatives.
