Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude with the ability to learn and apply new processes.
• Basic proficiency in the use of hand tools, power tools, or production equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions accurately.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift components weighing up to 50 pounds as required.
• Prior experience with precision measuring tools preferred but not required.
• Prior manufacturing or industrial experience preferred but not required.
• Eligibility to obtain and maintain security clearance requiring USA Citizenship.

Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces of metal, plastic, or composite components by sanding, grinding, blasting, or cleaning.
• Mask, degrease, and inspect parts to ensure quality before finishing or coating.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and surface prep equipment safely and efficiently.
• Interpret and follow work instructions, blueprints, and technical specifications.
• Monitor and maintain equipment and report any issues to supervision.
• Adhere to safety, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain organized and clean work area following 5S/lean practices.
• Collaborate with production team to meet departmental goals and targets.
