Job summary

Peninsula Powder Coating Inc. is hiring a full-time Production Surface Prep Technician to join our Baraga, Michigan team. You will operate equipment to paint and prepare surfaces by removing dirt, rust, old paint, and grease using pneumatic, electrical, or mechanical tools.

You’ll also be responsible for cleaning blast booths and supporting a fast-paced production line. This role offers a collaborative, hands-on environment with opportunities for growth and skill development in surface

Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing or industrial settings is preferred, but training is available for motivated individuals.
• You must be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds safely.
• Forklift operation experience is helpful; training is provided if needed.
• Attention to detail is essential for quality painting and prep work.
• Reliable, organized, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to meet deadlines without compromising quality.
