Triple-S Steel Supply in Odessa, Texas is seeking a Production Equipment Operator to read and execute work orders, operate various steel production machines, and meet customer requirements. Overtime may be required to handle workload. The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and adherence to procedures.

Qualifications

• Read and understand work orders to determine material or equipment needs.
• Use basic computer applications.
• Demonstrate intermediate math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide).
• Plan and organize work activities independently; work alone or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Follow safe methods of work at all times and report unsafe conditions.
• Manipulate, cut and/or form raw material according to work orders.
• Operate and maintain tools and equipment such as tape measures, calipers, CNC burning tables, band saws, forklifts, cranes, and PPE.
• Lift up to 50 pounds for up to 20 feet and move objects per daily tasks.
• Move around the workspace with awareness of other employees and hazards.
• Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather; attend all required meetings.
• Other duties as assigned.
