Job summary

Triple-S Steel Holdings, Inc. in San Antonio, Texas, is seeking a motivated Production Equipment Operator to read and execute work orders and safely operate metalworking tools and machinery. This is a non-exempt (hourly) position reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor/Manager.

The role includes lifting heavy objects, working in varying weather, and overtime as needed to meet customer requirements. Join a team that values reliability and safety in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Read and understand work orders or receive instructions to determine needs.
• Basic computer applications proficiency.
• Intermediate math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide).
• Meet or exceed minimum productivity levels as required.
• Plan and organize work, independently or with a team.
• Knowledge of material and inventory control techniques.
• Maintain inter-department communications regarding routing, safety and customer relations.

Responsibilities

• Follow safe methods of work at all times and report unsafe conditions.
• Manipulate, cut and form raw material to meet orders.
• Operate tools and equipment including tape measures, calipers, CNC burning table, band saw and cranes.
• Lift and carry up to 50 pounds for up to 20 feet; move objects with required PPE.
• Maintain awareness of surroundings and moving objects in the work area.
• Work indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Attend required meetings and perform other duties as assigned.
